On 06 December 2025, TPO Foundation, in collaboration with the Hercegovina University, held the eleventh promotion of the book Who is Afraid of Gender? by Judith Butler. The promotion is part of the “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence”campaign. The book was presented by Dr Martina Primorac and Tihana Matić, mag. iur., who emphasized that Butler, in her work, exposes the ways in which the concept of gender is used in political and cultural conflicts, and warns of the dangers of manipulating identity issues.

The presentation also emphasized the central theses of the book, including a call to defend human rights, freedom of expression and social solidarity.

This virtual event brought together the interested from the academic community as well as students, who had the opportunity to learn about the key ideas and messages of one of the most influential contemporary authors.
