Marking two key historical anniversaries in 2025 – 1700 years since the First Council of Nicaea (325), which laid the foundations of Christian dogma, and 60 years since the conclusion of the Second Vatican Council (1965), which inaugurated a new relationship between the Church and the world, characterized primarily by dialogue – this year’s Mediterranean Theological Meetings will reflect on the role of theology and theologians in the past, present, and future.
